Hello ladies! Thanks so much for reading my profile. I've experienced quite a bit in my short time on this planet. More accurately, I've accommodated my lustful whims, culinary decadence and extreme passion for travel. It has been and still is my belief that the most amazing aspect of life is exploration; which in my mind is synonymous with happiness.

At this stage in life, similar to the cycle of life itself, I have undergone tremendous change and evaluation. Part of that process has led me to writing especially as it pertains to creativity and beauty. Nonetheless, my priorities have adjusted and surfaced with a new appreciation of the familiar adage
"the little things in life matters most".

For sometime, I've heard folks refer to these "little things"- although the true interpretation of that was completely foreign to my conscience. At this point I don't know if I truly understand, but I can tell you without hesitation the little, fleeting moments of joy have become my daily addiction. Today, my elation comes from experiences that would have gone virtually unnoticed to my prior self.

Perhaps I'm somewhat of a joy junky. Without a doubt, I lean toward addictive behavior. Drum roll please. My dog Paris is the single most important aspect of my day. She single-handedly is responsible for a huge percentage of my good nature, whit and charm. In addition, I have begun a series of activities that help me cope with and navigate through an otherwise status quo way of life a.k.a the 9 to 5 matrix.

My new approach to life is equivalent to "living in the moment"; really experiencing life everyday and not waiting for tomorrow, or the weekend or the annual vacation. For me, it's the same as taking those big events and encapsulating them into tiny little daily treasures which can occur anywhere.

I've noticed how difficult it is to maintain yogi-esque behaviors. I'm constantly reminding myself to stay in the moment, to be present. It's amazing one has to remind oneself to be present; I mean what else is there? By default, it seems, we as humans are constantly reflective, worrisome, living in anticipation. The good news is it only takes a deep breath and a little concentration to come back to the NOW and enjoy.
